On January 6, 2004, a ribbon cutting ceremony
was held to commemorate the official opening of the Marshalltown
YMCA. Craig Faber, Vice President of the Hansen Company, explained
how the Marshalltown YMCA is one of Hansen's most impressive projects
to date and how honored the Hansen Company is to have been a part
of such a successful project. "From our perspective, the project
went extremely well due to the cooperation and support from the
city of Marshalltown, the entire YMCA staff, the architects and
engineers working on the project and the Hansen staff; Jim Nielson,
Steve Caldwell, Kevin Anderson and Ronda Kuipers," stated Craig
Faber.
