The Principal Riverwalk is shaping up to be Des Moines’ and central Iowa’s premier recreational development. The Hansen Company, Inc., in recognition and celebration of our 25th anniversary in business, has become a major donor to the project by contributing the design and construction of a public events plaza and gathering spot at the corner of Second and Grand Avenues. The plaza is to be named The Hansen Company Triangle.

We are optimistic that through creative design and thoughtful planning that The Hansen Triangle will become both a useful and popular area for a wide range of events on the Principal Riverwalk and downtown Des Moines in general.
