Iowa Department of Public Safety

This project consisted of the complete renovation of what was the 100,000 square foot International Harvester Manufacturing Building, into offices for the State of Iowa’s Public Safety Agencies. A five story, 50,000 sf addition mirrors the existing building and includes a poured in place concrete structure. Limestone, terra cotta base and cornice panels were removed and replaced and all windows were replaced to match the existing. The building is topped out in a new copper clad mechanical penthouse.
