Aspen Active - Fleur & Merle Hay

Hansen Company was selected for the recent remodel of two Aspen Active facilities.  Aspen Active on Fleur Drive in Des Moines, IA was a 5,000 SF remodel of a former restaurant.  This project included an exposed ceiling structure and state-of-the-art athletic equipment.  This facility is one of the more efficiently condensed Active locations.

The Aspen Active on Merle Hay Road in Des Moines, IA was a 23,000 SF remodel of a former electronics store on the Merle Hay Mall campus.  This Aspen has many amenities, such as; tanning rooms, saunas, spinning and exercise rooms with wood floors, daycare center, state-of-the-art weights and exercise equipment, and TV’s and audio equipment.  This project also included an exposed structure with ceiling clouds arranged throughout the main space.  Hansen has now completed nine projects with Aspen.
