When Midland Savings Bank contacted the Hansen Company to remodel its commercial banking floor in the Financial Center, more than the new facility was built. A partnership was developed that allowed Midland to focus on their evolving business strategy and sent Savage-Ver Ploeg and Hansen to design and construct a series of new retail banking facilities. Over the next four years, through a name change to AmerUs Bank and an ownership change to Commercial Federal Bank, three stand-alone facilities, a skywalk branch and several additions and renovations were completed.

Through it all, two constants; a solid relationship built on trust and dependability, and quality facilities to attract and retain customers.
