Renovating Hallowed Halls

Undergoing a major renovation without disrupting the normal flow of work is one thing. But when renovating a university library, unique partnerships must form. That's why The Hansen Company, Inc. was chosen as the general contractor for work on the Cowles Library on the campus of Drake University in Des Moines.

The project included renovation of the interior and exterior, including extensive restoration of windows.

Maintaining a tight schedule was essential with this project, as to not disrupt the academic atmosphere of the location.
