Dallas
County Hospital Renovation, Perry Iowa
Dallas County Hospital was a 3 Phase project consisting
of interior renovations to the existing fully functioning
hospital.
- Phase (1): Included
the renovation of Trauma, Ultrasound and Exam Rooms
along with the demolition and updating of existing
heating, cooling, plumbing & electrical
systems, which includes all medical gas systems. Space
included high risk, category 3 & 4 areas. Infection
control measures
were implemented.
- Phase (2): Included
the renovation of Radiology, Surgery and Emergency
Departments. A majority of the phase was preformed
in an extreme risk, category 5 area because of the
amount of demolition and HVAC modifications that were
done in the OR’s and sterilization rooms.
- Phase (3): Included the addition
of exterior canopy at the north entrance along with the
renovation and modifications to the existing Patient
Rooms, Nurses Stations, Administrative Offices, Physical
Therapy/ Treatment Departments and sterile corridors.

project started construction in December 2004 was completed
in February 2007.
