The Walkway To The Runway

Helping people move easily through an airport is just as important as the right flight. The addition of a skywalk lobby and stairs built by the Hansen Company helped the Des Moines International Airport make it happen.

Rehabilitation of the historic structure converted the building into 54 separate apartment units. Work on the facility included masonry tuck pointing, partial slate re-roofing and window rehabilitation. The existing elevator was rebuilt to comply with current building codes.
