About the project
Since the early 1980s, Children’s Cancer Connection, a nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to providing support to Iowa families affected by pediatric cancer, with a mission to ensure that diagnosed children can experience the most normal childhood possible. Serving as a true haven for “the entire family, through the entire journey,” Children’s Cancer Connection offers comfort and assistance during challenging times.
To further enhance its mission, the organization opted for a remodel that would embody the essence of “home” while fostering an energetic and uplifting atmosphere. Working closely with the project team, we successfully modernized various areas of the building, including the multipurpose/ gathering room, playroom, art and STEM labs, offices, and conference room. This comprehensive remodel was tailored to meet the needs of every child and family member impacted by pediatric cancer, creating a space that caters to their unique needs.
