About the project
Drake University loves its iconic mascot, Griff the Bulldog. Over the years there have been multiple “Griffs,” so Drake wanted to commutate all the amazing Griffs of the past and celebrate all the future ones to come. Drake planned a new plaza in the center of campus directly in front of Old Main, where the president and leadership team reside. The plaza came to life with granite pavers, limestone benches, new landscaping, and a larger-than-life Griff statue. This is the perfect spot to relax between classes or take a selfie with Drake’s beloved bulldog.
