About the project
The Johnston Town Center stands as a vibrant destination, attracting visitors who are seeking a memorable experience. It offers diverse activities tailored to people of all ages. Amenities include a splash pad, scenic bike trails, a skating rink, a large park, and a performance stage. With such a diverse mix of features, the center serves as a focal point for community gatherings and events.
The mixed-use buildings feature brick exteriors, and full-height curtain walls complemented by overhead doors, as well as ceilings and columns crafted from massive wood timbers that pay homage to the many trees that were repurposed from the site before development. These unique buildings not only give the Johnston Town Center its commercial presence; they serve as a gathering place for the community at large.
