About the project
KCCI reports and gathers news 24/7/365 on a minute by minute basis so when we were asked to remodel the news room, we knew our work had to be well planned, fast and efficient. In the course of 49 days, we remodeled the news studio, news research office area and production rooms. All work needed to be completed between on-air news segments, after hours and during TV production downtime. Our work had to disappear when the cameras were on and in doing so, KCCI maintained its status as an award-winning news room in the metro area.
