About the project
In 2010, the Blood Center of Iowa and Siouxland Community Blood Bank merged into LifeServe Blood Center to lower blood costs and enhance benefits. Today, they supply 157 hospitals in a multi-state region with 156,000 annual blood units. To support their growth, a new building was needed. It will house labs, offices, and feature a glass-skinned south side for natural light.
