About the project
The renovation of this former Target store involved the complete interior demolition and transformation from retail to office while earning LEED Silver certification. Polk County River Place is now a contemporary government office complex that accommodates nearly 350 employees, making it one of the largest county office buildings in Polk County. A curved and canted Stackwall Vision Vue® structural glass wall system is the focal point of the project which creates a striking impression and drastic contrast to its former “Big Box – Retail Store” configuration.
