About the project
When plans were made to design and build St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church it was always intended to have a school component. What may not have been planned was the tremendous growth the school would see in such a short time. Originally planned for a K-4 school, it has now expanded to 7th grade. A flexible design was critical to accommodate classroom expansion, the demands on the gym and physical education as well as art, music and other extracurricular activities. The school component of the church was a driving force for the development of the church family as well. Far from an afterthought, St. Luke’s school is a critical component of the overall health and growth of the church.
